1960's Stella Parlor Rubber Bridge
This is fairly similar to some of our popular 60’s rubber bridge conversions we have done in the past.
It does feature a slightly updated pickup design that is more dialed-in to bring out the perfect rubber bridge tone. I performed a neck reset on this guitar that allowed the right break angle for the rubber bridge to work best. This is our old-school tone circuit that gives you volume and bass-cuts with the option of fully bypassing the entire tone circuit to give you that “pickup wired directly to output jack” sound. Instead of increasing the cost with Kluson tuners, we sourced some good-working vintage tuners from our collection that are similar to what was originally on it (the original ones we unusable). The body also had a crack in it, but I treated it and glued it back into place.
Parlor-sized body
24” scale length
Standard tuning
Hard case included
Original tailpiece and pickguard
Period-correct tuners
Handwound mini-humbucker pickup designed for rubber bridges
Our popular rubber bridge tone circuit
Custom-made rubber bridge carved from East Indian Rosewood
