  • MOOD GUITARS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

    This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to physical goods, and only for physical goods, purchased from Mood Guitars.

    What does this limited warranty cover?

    This Limited Lifetime Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use. If the guitar malfunctions due to faulty materials or workmanship, Mood Guitars will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the guitar, at no charge. This means that products or parts that prove defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance, will be covered by our warranty.

    What will we do to correct problems?

    Mood Guitars will either repair or replace the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts.

    How long does the coverage last?

    The Warranty Period for Physical Goods purchased from Mood Guitars is lifetime from the date of purchase.

    What does this limited warranty not cover?

    This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:

    — All conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in original material or workmanship.

    — Shipping damage of any kind.

    — Any damaged to the instrument resulting from customization or modification, whether done by customer’s self or unauthorized repair or service person.

    — Normal wear and tear on any part of the instrument, which includes frets, saddle, nuts, jacks, controls, switches, metal parts, pickguards, or cases.

    — Any damage to the instrument resulting from humidity, sun or heat exposure, perspiration, moisture, guitar straps, chemicals or polishes, or any acts of nature.

    — Any subjective issues such as “tone” or “feel”.

    — Any instrument purchased from a third party and not directly from Mood Guitars.

    — Any damage to the guitar resulting in changes to the finish, splitting, wood warping, and related problems.

    What do you have to do?

    To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most

    appropriate solution for you. All shipping and insurance costs are the sole responsibility of the original purchaser.

    Upon arrival of the guitar at the Mood Guitars shop, a determination will be made as to whether the defect will be covered under the terms of our warranty. If the repair will be covered, it will be repaired at no cost. Mood Guitars will cover the return shipping of the instrument. If the repair will not be covered, an estimate of the cost of the repair will be given to the original purchaser.

    Mood Guitars assumes no liability for property damage resulting from failure of this product nor any loss of income, satisfaction, or damages arising from the loss of use of same due to defects or availability of same during service.

    This is the sole warranty of Mood Guitars and no other written or oral warranty applies. 

  • We don't convert vintage rubber bridge guitars anymore, but we have recommendations for other makers who do. Send us an email and we can steer you in the right direction.

  • Yes, we can do a custom flexible payment plan for you to pay off the guitar in up to 6 months, if a deposit of the minimum $600 is placed. Reach out and we’ll get it set up for you!

  • Yes, all deposits are non-refundable. If you need to back out of the build at any point for any reason, we do not refund deposits, but can refund any further payments made towards the build.

  • We offer payments through PayPal, Stripe, and normal credit card processing. We offer Afterpay for purchases up to $2,000.00. If you would like to pay another way not offered at checkout, send us an email and we will see if we can accept it.

  • The remaining balance is due upon the completion of the guitar, unless you are already set up with a payment plan. Our estimates for guitar completion are not alway accurate, so sometimes the guitar wlll ship out later or earlier than expected. If earlier than you can pay, we will hold the guitar until you are fully paid and will ship it then. If after, you do not have to pay the remaining balance until the guitar is ready to ship. We will ship within 2 to 3 business days after the balance has been paid.

  • Please click on the Moodbender listing to see the current lead time - we update it whenever the time lessens or lengthens.

  • We use UPS Ground and FedEx Ground for US and International orders. We choose whichever is more affordable to give you the best possible shipping price available. We have successfully shipped all of our guitars all over the world without any incidents. Once payment is completed in full and the build is finished, we will ship the guitar within two or three business days.

  • For US orders, shipping costs typically run between $35 and $85 depending on your location. For international, in our experience so far, shipping costs between $100-$300. Please contact us with your city and country or specific address so we can provide an accurate shipping quote.

    International customers are responsible for all applicable costs including insurance, taxes, customs and bank transfer fees. All guitars are insured and declared for their full value.

  • We accept returns from US customers with a 10% restocking fee and payment of all shipping charges. This only applies to the original customer and owner of the guitar and does not apply to subsequent owners. The customer is responsible for paying the restocking fee and shipping charges before the guitar ships. Please notify us for the correct mailing address to ship to. The customer has 7 days to ship the instrument back to Mood Guitars from receiving it. Refunds will be processed to the card used on our website and will take 5-10 days to process and clear. The customer will pay for any necessary repairs.

    All international sales are final, meaning we do not accept returns from international customers.
